About Dutchy's Bakehouse

Dutchy's Bakehouse is a local bakery located in Sippy Downs and also Creek on the Sunshine Coast stocking a range of tasty baked goods and pastries. Specialising in Dutch products, all our items are made from scratch and nothing artificial added. Authentic Dutch specialties include Oliebol, croquette (baked or frozen) Speculaas, Dutch stolen and fruit loaves with almond paste to name a few. Dutchy has a team that is a force to be reckoned with. Our love for the craft of baking and pastry cooking and their passion for good taste make our products second to none. We are around early in the day to share a tale about a recent fishing trip, come in and try something soon. The staff will always give you a warm welcome and the coffee is always hot and strong. Opening Hours: Brightwater Store Monday-Friday 7.00am-4.00pm / Saturday 7.00am-2.00pm / Sunday Closed

Normally I rate Dutchy' as good but last Thursday I was accused by the female owner of defrauding Dutchy's at the Sippy Downs store of a free cup of coffee. I bought a cup of coffee and food (and paid for both) my son followed and ordered a coffee and went to claim the free coffee on the card. We went and sat down, she came out of the shop and acccused us punching the holes in the card just to get a free coffee. REALLY I have been going to Dutchy's for over 3 years and each time we get 2 or more coffees, so have had numerous cards in that time. I will think twice before going there again as I am not used to being accused or abused by the staff. Normally the girls are nice at the store but not the female owner.

Dutchy's made the most amazing Profiterole tower (croquembouche) for Dad's 70th birthday party. It was huge with big fresh profiteroles and beautiful chocolate and strawberries. It looked amazing and was a big hit, everyone loved it. Thanks so much Dutchy and team for a super special hand crafted masterpiece.

The best bakery I have come across for a long time. The cakes and pastries are fantastic, and special mention for the vanilla slice (it has chocolate inside) and custard tarts are made with real custard. Also the staff are so friendly and obliging, and I've also noticed people with their dogs enjoying the seating outside. Even a water bowl is provided for the dogs. Big thumbs up from me. Jan

Yummo best describes the lunch I enjoyed here today. Great tasting food and an awesome selection. The staff were very nice as well, a dynamic team. Two thumbs up.
