East Coast Granny Flats showed absolute professionalism throughout the process of building my parents granny flat. From council through to the cleaners, The A team of Tradies on the Mid North Coast nothing was ever an issue. Thank you for valuing your elders they sure felt honoured, you have built them a beautiful home. I have to mention a very special lady Carolyn you went above and beyond to accommodate everything my parents requested, you were an absolute pleasure to do business with and I will sincerely miss your kindness and preciseness in your work, AND a big THANK YOU to you also Pete without your patience and humour we could not have had the result we have. What’s the difference between a granny flat and a small home?

Granny flats must follow the guidelines outlined in the NSW Government’s State Environment Planning Policy (Affordable Rental Housing) 2009, the most important being that a granny flat must not exceed 60m2 of internal living space. Small homes are by definition small, but they are not bound by the 60m2 internal space limitations.
