Ecolibrium specialises in designing buildings that are energy and cost efficient but also inviting and comfortable. We are a state award winner for Sustainable Design (Building Designers Association Queensland) and service the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and South East Queensland. Our passion for the environment informs our approach to building design. We balance this approach by taking into account everyday practicalities and budget. In developing sustainable architecture, we incorporate thermal mass principles, passive solar design and ventilation. The materials we specify in our designs are selected after careful consideration of their environmental impacts, before, during and after construction. The aim is to create a building that is comfortable and healthy to live in but environmentally low impact. Ideally, the built environment is in harmony with the property's natural environment allowing the resources, water and energy to be used most efficiently. For existing buildings, we can explore options to renovate or retrofit in order to improve functionality and efficiency. Using efficient design, well researched products and systems, and sophisticated 3D computer modelling, we strive to create spaces that are pleasing to the eye and encourage harmony and well being.?
