At Facialmax Oral & Facial Surgery, we aim to offer the highest quality Oral and Maxillofacial surgery services to the people in Central Coast. The founder of Facialmax Surgery, Dr Yang, is a comprehensively trained Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon practicing contemporary Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, treating the mouth, face, and jaws. He completed his surgical training in NSW, where he was awarded FRACDS (OMS) fellowship. FRACDS (OMS) fellowship is the only recognised Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery qualification in Australia and New Zealand. He is dually qualified in dentistry and medicine. He gained his degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with credit from University of Otago, and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from University of Auckland. He was awarded multiple prizes during his studies including Sir John Walsh Prize and Peter Milne Prize. His extensive post-graduate experience include training in Derbyshire Royal Infirmary in the United Kingdom, Midlemore Hospital in New Zealand, John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, The Canberra Hospital and Westmead Hospital in Sydney. In addition to routine minor oral surgical procedures, Dr Yang has special interests in dental implants and related hard tissue augmentation, orthognathic surgery, management of maxillofacial pathology and trauma, as well as non-surgical facial rejuvenation. In his spare time, Dr Yang enjoys cycling, snowboarding, reading and watching movies.
