Family Fascination

Genealogy, family history research, written family histories, presentation charts, assistance and training I have been researching my personal family history for over thirty years and registered a family history business in 2009, offering professional services, after completing a Graduate Certificate in Family and Community History at Charles Sturt University. Family Fascination undertakes research of records in Australia and overseas for people interested in tracing their family roots. Where do your ancestors come from? What were the smells, the seasons, the landscapes that shaped them and ultimately us? In an age of genetic research, we need information on family diseases and deaths to instruct us about our own health and vulnerabilities. Family trees tell us about marriages and children, deaths and divorces and we begin to recognise inherited patterns. Stories tell us what we need to know, not only about ourselves and our culture, but about our civilisation.
