About GBP Cranes

The business was originally founded as Gunnedah Building Products in 1975, specialising in the production of concrete Besser blocks. Over time, understanding the demand in the market for assistance with moving pallets of the blocks resulted in the purchase of ‘The Hippo', a truck-mounted crane which resides at the depot to this day. Over the past 45 years, the business has transformed into one of the largest crane fleets within New South Wales. Today, GBP Cranes & Heavy Haulage is known for providing high-quality, certified crane hire and heavy haulage solutions throughout the North West utilising a fleet ranging from 15T Franna to 250T Slew cranes. Being a locally owned and operated company with a diverse team of 40+ local employees, we take pride in being efficient, thorough, competent and a very reliable workforce. We understand that sometimes life doesn't quite go as planned. With this in mind, we offer 24/7 assistance alongside a designated supervisor who is on call to respond to any emergency outside general business hours. With our after-hours service, you can depend on us any time to deliver reliable solutions.
