What does the RWC inspection include? It's possible for a vehicle to hold an RWC, and still require extensive work before it can be driven.The RWC inspection covers: the integrity of the vehicle's lights; steering dependability; whether the brakes are working correctly and can stop the vehicle within a suitable distance; the calibre of the suspension; the condition of the windscreen (including the wipers); whether there is sufficient tread on the tyres; and whether the bodywork has any signs of rust or decomposition. If the vehicle fails to meet the minimum standards required by the RWC inspection, owners have 14 days to rectify the issues. If the necessary repairs haven't been carried out, the vehicle will need to be re-inspected.
