My haircut was OK not terrible, i was recommended by a friend and thought I’d support a very small business. Wash/blow dry was ok besides the fact that water was going everywhere, more of a last minute fit me in.

Most definitely the worst foils a hairdresser has ever done for me. The bleach was over processed and made my hair snap. Thankfully another local salon was able to fix my hair.

Environment was friendly, both hairdressers running behind on time so prepare to wait longer than normal, my hair cut was ok, not the best, maybe some potential further training would be an investment, out of area client, I wouldn’t return.

Double or should I say triple booked, between the two ladies it took them nearly 1.5hours for a cut wash and style. Slow service. Personal life discussed with clients also.

This salon is the best hairdresser in Illawarra. Vanessa does the most amazing colours and cuts. The customer service is outstanding and the staff are always smiling and friendly. A lovely atmosphere - no wonder it's so popular. Love all the added beauty extras too. Keep up the great work girls.

I've followed Vanessa to this new business in Port Kembla from her old salon in Warrawong. Still the same friendly service, easy parking nearby and a fresh new premises. Vanessa always does a wonderful job with my hair at a very competitive price. She has an eye for style and colour. I come away relaxed and feeling renewed. Vanessa shows real interest in her patrons, treating them as people, not just as customers. I'd highly recommend Genesis.
