After studying Bass at the Jazz Music Institute, James expanded to start playing Jazz guitar in local big bands, shows, and productions. James has worked in private schools on the Gold Coast as a teacher, and is fully registered and licensed to teach children By using a foundation of simple music concepts and a building-blocks approach, James Dent is an effective educator from beginners to professionals. With a personalised system for all students, beginners can learn fundamental skills while preparing for advanced concepts in 30 minute lessons, and intermediate/advanced students can learn step-by-step applications for complex ideas in 1hr lessons
