Great Energy specialise in Power Station Construction and has a diverse customer base throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific Rim, ranging from “Island Mode Power Stations” to “Emergency Stand-By Units”. The total MW capacities under our control are linked to our long-term Operations & Maintenance contracts, or Service Agreements. Whatever the fuel source, we have the solutions in providing the most reliable, efficient and cost-effective electrical supply to your business. With over thirty years in the power generation world, we have identified that our workforce can make a significant contribution to Great Energy’s success by encouraging creativity, diverse thought, enabling innovation (think outside the box), improving productivity and better decision making. Great Energy are committed to identifying and facilitating flexible work arrangements. We recognise and understand that ALL employees have different life circumstances therefore, we support flexible working arrangements so all employees have the opportunity to maintain work-life balance. Great Energy is committed to developing employees through apprenticeship and training opportunities. Our in-house training partners “Major Training” develops Apprenticeship programs which are made up of in-class learning and on-the-job training. We aim to have apprentices working at different stages throughout our entire business. Most apprenticeships are in the Electrical and Mechanical fields. Great Energy are the systems integrator on the Heinzmann Digital Governor Equipment, therefore our workforce is highly trained and experienced through all aspects of power generation. We offer, arrange and support similar training to our clients and their workforce.
