Grounded Works Design Studio is a Bellingen based building design practice made up of Josh & Annika Batterton. We are passionate about delivering high quality design outcomes for our clients and working alongside skilled trades to achieve common project goals. We are registered Passive House Designers and specialise in Passive House design, passive solar design, low energy buildings and use a holistic approach to serve the needs of our clients. Our practice is driven by the quality of the relationships that we build with our clients, contractors and consultants. We respect the level of trust our clients place in us and take no shortcuts in delivering on what we promise. Josh designed for us a stunning outdoor deck to house a barrel sauna, seating, bathtub, and a few other pieces. He instantly understood our vision and helped us develop it further, bringing inspiring ideas and experience along the process. He's professional, detail oriented, and his input was very valuable when working with both structural engineers and builders.
