Hair Today

Arrived at 1:50pm and was told there would be a 30 minute wait. Waited for an hour and 20 minutes, then had to leave. Quite certain that two children arrived after me but were served first. Would have been nice to be told what was going on. I understand that it can be difficult to keep track of which order customers arrive in, but please be more respectful of people's time. If you estimate a wait time, and realise at some point that it wasn't realistic, just apologise and ask the person to come back another day.

On holiday and dropped in on a Saturday afternoon in need of root recolouring. Staff were wonderful. Extremely helpful and professional. They were very busy and obviously very popular but they did not make me feel rushed or under serviced in any way. Would certainly recommend. Thank you.

My last review a few days ago was put on before I even got to Alice Springs so this is an update, I’m very happy with my hair love the professionalism the lady who did my hair, she gave me good advise and the atmosphere in the salon was friendly and warm. Much appreciated I will be back. Carla

Unfortunately they didn’t get in touch with me, I have also called them a few times left messages. I live 500km north of Alice Springs and have to take time of work, organise accommodation etc, so it makes it all a bit hard. I thank you for contacting me.

Walked in on Saturday at 3.34pm asking for a men’s haircut but they said that because they’re open until 4.30pm, they’re shutting now. They explained that they need to clean the shop, etc. there were 5 hairdressers and only one with a client. We begged but they said no, come on Monday.

Just had worse hair cut in my life.... sorry if i am bit harsh but my hair dresser had no clue what was she doing... very disappointed..

I experienced rude managenent whose only concern is to pack as many people as possible.

Never have to wait too long, price is reasonable and staff are professional and friendly. I have been attending regularly for several years and only twice not been completely satisfied with my haircut.

Have never had a worse customer experience in my life! To start, was humiliated & ridiculed in front of both staff & customers by Elaine (think she was the manager), then told they could not do the cut I wanted (despite it being very straight forward) ... at this stage I was prepared to walk out! Lady who cut my hair was nice enough; however, didn't get what I wanted & paid $65 for a simple cut (no wash, no dry off or style). Definitely won't be going back!

Great service with simple cut - prize included washing with shampoo, quality hair treatment product and blow drying. Will return for sure!

Very knowledgeable staff, I was given a new style and was shown how to look after it. Loving it! All the ladies here are so lovely. Would highly recommend to everyone.

The lovely ladies at Hair Today did a great job on my hair. The colour and cut are exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was great and relaxing.
