Hastings Diesel Service

I own a 2010 Diesel Ranger 4WD, which was blowing thick black smoke, with loud engine noise and getting harder to start. I was recommended a diesel service in Taree, which over 2 weeks cost me a lot of money and and didn't fix the problem and wanted to additional repairs which didn't match the problems I was having. A friend recommended Hasting Diesel Service, I spoke to them on the phone and arranged to drop the car to them, they found faulty injectors were the problem and the other repairs recommended by the first mechanic were not needed. I picked the car up the next afternoon and it was as good as new. I found them to be very friendly, efficient, reliable, knowledgeable and able to explain the problem in layman's terms. They diagnosed the problem over the phone and knew exactly what they were taking about. I have no problem in recommending Matt and the team to anyone with a diesel engine problem

This business is one I would highly recommend! As a female customer I didn't quite understand the diagnosis of the problem with my car, but Matt takes the time to explain so I know exactly what is wrong and how it will be repaired! Their communications are great and I was greeted with a friendly voice each time I called! Its nice to deal with a business that cares and doesn't just want your money!! My go-to mechanic!!

Hastings Diesel Service did some great work for me a few weeks ago. They were both fast and efficient. I definately will not be taking my car anywhere else in the future.

Don't go there, they have no idea.
