About Hawe Elizabeth Physiotherapist
Bourbong Street Physiotherapy Centre was first established by Elizabeth Hawe (Physiotherapist) in September 1994. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Qld, with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, in 1985. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and completed a Hydrotherapy course in 1994, before starting her own practice. Bourbong St Physiotherapy is the only physiotherapy practice in the Bundaberg region that holds regular, weekly Aquatic (Hydrotherapy) classes. Elizabeth has special interests in: Women's Health - Pelvic Floor exercises [for men as well] Occupational Health and Safety - Worksite evaluations, Functional Pre-employment assessments, Suitable Duties assessments Orthopaedics - Post operative rehabilitation following surgeries like joint replacement, reconstruction surgeries, tendon repair, fractures etc Cardiothoracic - Health and fitness Paediatrics - Children's Conditions - Elizabeth works in conjunction with other therapists from Education Qld; Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service; Queensland Cerebral Palsy League and gladly accepts any Federal / State Government Health Scheme, such as, Better Start for Children with Disability Initiative.
