Hertz Sunshine Coast

Booked a car - needed an 8 seater card hold was placed by third party booking agent, hertz didn’t confirm booking or deny it, no one answered the phone both thur and fri over multiple calls, now need to wait 28 days for 3rd party to process 1100$ refund to rebook. Customer service on hertz end extremely disappointing, the fact no one bothers to pick a phone up just escalates the situation.

Anyone looking for a car rental on the Sunshine Coast, should put Hertz Caloundra and the team as a priority, Their exceptional service and friendly nature allows for a desirable transaction. They are my "GO TOO' team in the future.

Terrible. I was hit by a car and referred to these guys by my insurance. On pick up i was denied a car by a very rude lady as i didn't have a credit card on me which they didn't tell me to bring (this was my first hire car so i didn't know how to prepare for it). I brought it back after 3 weeks and it has now been 4 weeks since taking it back and still haven't got my deposit back. I called 6 times and every time no one could help me and said they'd call back but never did so i had to call them back every-time. THEN they charged me extra for a car upgrade which i didn't ask for and they didn't tell me about it. Finally received a refund for that after 4 weeks. Overall horrible experience.

Hired a truck from Hertz to move my mother-in-law from Toowoomba to the Sunshine Coast. Was able to make a simple phone call to organise dates and times. All the paperwork was done on the day of pickup. Such an uncomplicated service, far easier than I expected. The trucks are well maintained, quite good on fuel and easy to drive. The staff were great and made sure to explain everything to me. Return delivery was as simple as dropping in the keys. Would have no hesitation in using Hertz again for any hire.
