Open 7 days a week and late Thursday through to Sunday, Howlin' Wolf Bar is a quirky whiskey bar that has taken Wollongong by storm. Our New York underground-style bar is fully licensed and has the largest range of whiskey labels in Wollongong. Not to mention our selection of classic cocktails, beer and wine. We truly have a talented team of mixologists! Howlin' Wolf Bar has a soulful jazz and blues edge with local live music talent filling our bar on Thursday and Friday nights. Our unique atmosphere is what separates us from other bars in the area.

The rudest staff I have even encountered in Wollongong. Mumbling insults under their breath to one anther and calling out negative comments to the patrons as they leave. I visited on the 13/06/20. I appreciate that these are hard time with restrictions and it appeared that management did not put enough staff on but the staff were very unpleasant to deal with and made it a VERY negative experience.

Quite a warm ambiance with happy hour drinks and different cocktails. Can be a tad hard to find if you've never been before.

Amazing guys!! They really know their stuff. Awesome venue for a relaxing afternoon having a drink or watching bands raise the roof later on in the night.
