ICON Eyewear has been providing quality eye care services in Hurstville since 1992. Originally known as MDM Eyecare Centre, we practised within Westfield Shopping Centre before moving to our present location a decade ago. The practice is independently owned and operated by our Optometrists Michael Mihailidis and Maria Dimitratos whose love and care for client’s vision is evident in the use of cutting-edge technology and equipment across the practice. ICON utilises innovative computerised equipment, ensuring early detection and management of eye diseases such as Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Cataracts and Diabetic Retinopathy. All of our optometrists are experienced in fitting advanced contact lenses, including orthokeratology lenses for myopia control. They are also therapeutically endorsed to prescribe medicated eye drops and are authorised to conduct Civil Aviation eye examinations.
