What are injectables?

There are two main types of injectables, these are botulinum toxin type A and dermal fillers. Botulinum toxin also known as Botox is used to relax the muscles in your face causing your harsh lines to disappear. Dermal fillers on the other hand are used to create volume and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. There are many different types of injectables that can give you different results, so it is ideal to have a couple of consultations with your doctor first to find out what is best for you.

Anti-wrinkle injections & fillers can last anywhere between 3 to 6 months. However this number can vary depending on the area that is injected and the amount of time your face spends in the sun. Make sure you ask these sort of questions with your doctor.
