2 Jan 2025 7:30 pm. Not that busy. Ordered the wagyu slices 8/9 they say, costs $36! Got only six slices and it’s not wagyu, at just “gyu”. Wagyu you pay more bc it’s marbled with fat throughout to make it soft, this was just standard, not even great Aussie steak, zero marvelling. Miso soup was weak, almost like no ‘dash I’ inside. Ordered the blue Hawaiian cocktail, was weasel pissss weak for $17. Honestly, this is NOT a Japanese izakaya. Paid $60 for one person meal and was so average. Will never ever eat here again!

Come here twice now and the first was just after opening. The service was that poor the first time we actually to walk out. The second time was a little better, at least we got to the good stage! I thought the concept ordering on iPads is great, it's a shame they got one of the four dishes we ordered wrong. The food is ok and worth going back. Just try not to sit by the door as it can get very windy. Worth you trying it out if want a great location and good food.
