How can I backup my data?

For local backups I recommend Veeam for Windows Free edition (or Time Machine on macOS). You can then use an external hard drive with these programs to do a full system backup.

Why is my computer so slow?

The modern day era of computer systems has seen the traditional hard disk drive be replaced by solid state drives (SSD’s). Put simply, rather than your computers information being stored on a mechanical hard drive disk drive with spinning platters and heads to seek data, it is now stored on purely electronic memory with no moving parts, a much, much faster storage medium!

Why have my emails stopped working? It keeps asking for a password?

If your emails stop working out of the blue and you know that you haven’t recently made any account changes with your provider (ie Telstra, Optus) chances are the service is temporarily down and will probably resolve itself.

My Wi Fi or my internet has stopped working or is slow?

The oldest trick in the book when it comes to devices is…… TURN IT OFF, THEN TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN! It’s always a shame for a client to call on professional services and incur fees when the simple answer was to just simply TURN IT OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN!

Can't go wrong if you get Izzy out to your PC- Very happy with quote/ pricing too. What a nice guy- he is more than happy to answer your questions, Came promptly, picked up n returned my PC within 3 days. All fixed with new internal HD. PC screen etc looked no different to when I gave it to Izzy, Didn't have to reset anything up (have had to in the past). Set up a 2nd screen I had & a new external HD. He can work remotely too- which is handy. Very Happy------FULLY RECOMMEND Izzy Come Izzy Go Computer Solutions.

Whenever a computer is just generally being weird or giving any form of trouble, be it with printing or trouble opening programs or no Wi F or just generally being slow, I always recommend the first troubleshooting step to be restarting the computer.

My computer has frozen!?

There have been several occasions that this reported symptom has simply turned out to be flat batteries in a wireless keyboard and mouse. Try not to waste your hard-earned money on this one!
