Jakes Steel & Welding was established in 1981 and is a family owned and operated business. Our well-equipped workshop has been designed with the specific intention of managing the safe and professional fabrication of high quality steel products to Australian Standard AS/ANS ISO 9001, as well as Safety Standard AS/NZS 4801 and Environment Standard AS/NZS ISO 14001. We make sure that the galvanizers, sand blasters and painters who are involved in all the projects that we undertake, also perform their related duties to the same exacting standards. Along with the welding, profile cutting, and punching of steel brackets, our facilities allow us to manage large scale steel fabrication projects for multiple clients simultaneously. For deliveries of finished products to site, Jakes Steel & Welding has its own body truck and prime mover with extendable trailer. Our prime mover is also available for hire.
