Jmar Engineering

Jmar Engineering began on 1st April 1994 and for over 25 years we have strived for excellence in everything we do. Mark Hooper, with the support of his wife Janice opened the doors of Jmar Engineering in 1994 in Mariem Street Shepparton. Mark has spent many years in the industry, commencing his apprenticeship with Sheptec Tools, in McGill Street Shepparton, working for Gerry Van Zeist. After working for Gerry for 7 years, Mark moved to Melbourne for 2 years, to gain more experience in prototype machining. 2004 saw us given the opportunity to design and build On-Farm Overhead Fuel Tank Ladders, when the fuel industry needed to comply with current OH&S legislation for on-site delivery to bulk tanks and establish safe access for filling. This was a real breakthrough for Jmar Engineering, giving us opportunity to build the factory that we now occupy at 6 Broomfield Street, with a team of 18 and again a product we still build and supply. Nowadays we find ourselves working with a wide variety of existing Engineering Firms, supplying component parts for several major developments in the wider Goulburn Valley. We also work with other clients who require only small jobs done. No matter how big or small the job is, we still apply the same spirit of excellence.
