Kate Platt Interior Design was established in 1992. Following a successful career in Sydney since 1984 Kate moved to the North Coast of NSW with her young family. With a degree in sculpture and design from the National Art School she successfully set up her office and design studio in Byron Bay. Catering to the needs of both residential and commercial clients we provide services from concept through to full project management. Our services provide building design, interior design, renovations, kitchen and bathroom design, apartment fit outs and interior decoration. Taking a personal role in every project Kate's eclectic style will promise to produce an environment personally tailored to your needs where you can truly relax and feel a sense of home and well being. Her designs are elegant and sophisticated whilst still retaining functionality and architectural integrity. Sensible and practical design solutions combined with simplicity create an environment that is nurturing and timeless. Our office in Byron Bay is in easy reach of the Gold Coast, South East Queensland and Northern NSW clients, providing furnishing fabrics, curtains and blinds, furniture, lighting, rugs, original artwork and object art.
