Leau Da Cha caters in fine food with a personal touch. Cathy Leaudais launched her small business catering events and functions in Forster - NSW Mid-North Coast in 2007, coming from a career within the food industry that spans forty years. Within her field of expertise, Cathy has worked in radio communications, television presentations, with a regular appearance on Good Morning Sydney, food photography; and a variety of promotional work including the delivery of lectures in the art of cooking at schools, TAFE, charity events, lifestyle and trade shows, exhibitions, as well as within commercial business premises. From this, she was highly sought after for the planning, organising and implementation of small and large-scale executive functions, while incorporating her experience to advise many clients on their own usage of cooking appliances across metropolitan and regional New South Wales. With fantastic communication skills, a high standard of professionalism and the ability to build relationships quickly, the latter saw Cathy in her element. To be working in a personalised environment with clientele, creating food to be remembered has been an influential and impassioned component to the underlying philosophy of Leau Da Cha. Cathy focuses on an interactive relationship with clientele to create the perfect menu to suit each functions' needs, with all food handmade in house. Menus may be selected from existing options or can be personally designed to clients' requirements, with the consistent use of local produce. Such events may include birthdays, weddings and vow renewal, christenings, post funeral reflections, anniversaries and work parties. Cathy supports the entire event by collaborating in the planning and design stages of the menu, to organising all food and function needs, through to the personal delivery of her catering.
