Do I need a referral to see a Therapist?
No, however iff you intend to claim a medi-care rebate on your counselling sessions, you must provide a GP referral prior to or upon your first session. If you are a full fee paying private client you do not need a referral.
How long does a session last?
Sessions last 50 minutes, unless otherwise arranged in advance. For relationship counselling, it is recommended that each partner is seen individually for at least a single session prior to a joint session. Booking a double session (2 x 50 min) is recommended for your first joint session.
