The Mongolian lamb and special fried rice was very bland. Only vegetable was overcooked beans.

Had 3 meals, combination chop suey, beef chop suey and the shandy. I was a little surprised to see the chicken in the meals was just meat taken from a boiled chook...I wondered if the only flavouring they had was sesame oil, because that's all I could taste (and smell) ..... AND frozen peas and corn? Really?? As for the fried rice. You had better come to Townsville and visit ANY chinese eatery, that container contained a gluggy rice dish that was more like boiled rice (risotto?), boiled to a mush, with some more frozen peas and corn in it. To the person who reviewed it as the best chinese in Bowen... IT'S THE ONLY chinese in Bowen!! Best chinese in Bowen, worst chinese in Australia. On the upside, it was a good size dish, while I was there they accidentally undercharged a customer, and didn't worry about getting the money. Service was good. The food was far from it.
