What’s the difference between riveted and welded joints?

A welded joint tends to look better and is completely sealed, whereas a riveted joint is not leak proof and secures two pieces of metal.

What’s the difference between ferrous and non-ferrous metals?

Non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium and copper, do not contain iron, are not magnetic and tend to not corrode as easily.
