In the meantime, try to minimise the opening and closing of the fridge, or transfer the contents of the malfunctioning fridge to a working one if you can.

Fortunately, modern Inverter Air Conditioners can be incredibly cheap to run (especially on heating). A small Split System to suit a bedroom, for example, might cost around $5.00 per week. A large Split system to suit a living area roughly $8.00 per week. A small Ducted System around $10.00 per week; a Large ducted system, roughly $2.00 per day.

Every business is different, and therefore has individual needs. Factors such as the type and volume of products, and ideal temperature and humidity requirements for those products vary, and are the first major considerations. Restaurants, Cafe's, and Bars need specialised Cool rooms that might be completely different to a Butcher shop Cool room's requirements, for example.

There is really no limit on the size that a Cool room can be built (within reason) so it depends on the size and volume of product you need to pass through the Cool room on a daily basis. Factors such as what size openings, such as door size, sliding or hinged, or whether you need to be able to drive a forklift in and out, are just a few factors that need to be taken into consideration.

Compared to the cost of an after hours break down call out, or loss of stock due to an unnecessary malfunction (that might have been preventable) the answer is no. Regular, scheduled maintenance is a smart investment in keeping your system in the best working order, and can help identify potential failures before they develop!

Having an old switchboard doesn't necessarily mean it needs to be replaced, but it's best to arrange for one of our technicians to check it over to ensure it is safe and performing efficiently.

I am finding my power is constantly tripping and don�t know why. What do you suggest I do?

Accepted Answer

To find the source that is causing your power to keep tripping, you initially need to unplug all of your appliances, then reset the trip switch. Next, plug in and turn on your appliances one at a time until you find which appliance is tripping the power. If you cannot find the source of the problem, call us and we will send out an electrician.

How much will I save on my energy costs by changing to LED lighting?

Generally lighting equates to being 12% of your energy bill. By switching to LED lighting, you will save up to 85% of your lighting costs, so around 10% of your energy bill.

I have a blackout. Do I need to call the power company or an electrician?

Accepted Answer

If everyone in your area doesn't have power then it's normally a grid related issue that the power company will have to fix. But, if you are the only one who has a blackout then something is tripping your power, so you either have to isolate the appliance causing the problem or call an electrician to fix it for you.
