So your just about to buy a boat, started the motor kicked the tyres, checked out that the water pump works, cool all good to go. Most people at this stage buy the boat and are keen to go fishing . Let me stop you there, my advice get the motor serviced or checked out before going on that fishing expedition, that’s what l did, Jay was absolutely brilliant, so the list of things that was wrong with the motor No gear oil not a drop, impeller completely melted even tho when l bought the boat it was working also jay checked the gear box for leaks and wouldn’t you know it that also had a leak, what can l say if l took the boat for a fish talkabout avoiding a nightmare, for peace of mind get it checked out Jay from Marine Aid was my life saver and he will be yours honest and very reasonable with pricing absolutely awesome he gets a 5 star rating from me Nick k

Was more than stoked with the work that Jay did on my tinnie- had both a full service and all of the electronic redone on a boat that I had just purchased. Firstly, Jay was one of the only mechanics who responded to my messages but on top of this provided a detailed quote, prompt service, and I was thrilled with his work both times. He went above and beyond to ensure my old Tohatsu was running at its bestâ€”even going so far as to custom make a couple of parts. The beauty of it all was that he came to the boat and all the work was done at a time that suited my work schedule. Would one hundred percent recommend Jay and Marine aid to anyone and will definitely be continuing to use them in the future!
