Metroll

Went into Metroll to enquire about carport/pergola at least 8 weeks ago. Was told the person we needed to talk to was out. The receptionist took our details and said they will contact us and that "he loves to come out and quote" .....HUH.. still waiting. We understand with the building boom everyone is so busy but how hard is it for the sales people to ring and say "we can't help at this time". Then there are the ads on social media saying "Get a Quote"....why bother. Little bit of customer service in the boom times will stand you good stead in the quiet times...just saying!!!!!

We enquired about guttering over the phone, I spoke nicely and politely trying to explain the situation. I could sense an attitude on the phone from this man called Barry, which wasn't very nice. The quote came through quickly via email and we accepted and went ahead. We had to pre pay, which I thought was odd, but anyway, if that's how they do their business. 125mm Quad gutter was ordered and the accessories to suit, stop ends and brackets, 4 sections of 5.1mtrs. After picking it up, and the next day we started to install. The guttering is ok, but all the brackets and stop ends are for 150mm guttering and don't suit this. We called up to ask if someone could come and bring the the correct ones to us as we were half way through the job and the mistake isn't ours. Barry showed up, the attitude I was correct about. Never got a response!!!! Heard nothing back from my enquire!!!! Zero feedback as had zero communication back!!!!
