I booked my van in for what seemed to be a fuel problem. The car was surging under load at full throttle, struggling to get air or fuel. After discussing it with my brother, he suggested it might be a fuel filter issue. It turns out he was right—the diesel fuel filter was blocked. However, I was shocked to be charged $495 for a replacement fuel filter. I found that I could buy an original fuel filter cartridge online for $95, but I was charged $148 for the part plus $300 in labor, along with GST. Given this experience, I will not be returning for any future work. I own three vehicles, and I will be informing my friends about how overcharged I felt by Meidecke Motors Port Macquarie.

My family and I have purchased new and used vehicles in recent years from Miedecke Motors and all our dealings have been friendly, professional and no fuss! We are Ford biaised, however, we have visited other dealerships in the area, and they could all take a leaf out of this one. Keep it up guys.
