Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect after booking my first appointment?
After booking your first appointment with us, we’ll send you a welcome pack via email or by post if you wish. In the welcome pack will be a medical history form for you to fill out and hand to us on arrival. Included in your welcome pack is some extra information about our practice and instructions on how to get here.
How often should I have my teeth professionally cleaned?
Unfortunately, brushing alone is not enough to keep your teeth sparkling clean. Our mouths are full of hard to reach nooks and crannies where tartar and plaque can easily build up. This causes decay and gum disease. Our dentists generally recommend having a professional scale and polish every 6 months. But, if you have established gum/jawbone disease or wear orthodontic braces, every 3–4 months.
