About My Mental Health
My Mental Health has been established by David & Simona Hunter to serve Townsville and surrounding community. Offering Addiction Coaching, Family Therapy, Couples & Marriage counselling, Creative Arts Therapy, SandPlay, Youth in Crisis and Mental Health Therapy. David served as the COO of a residential treatment center for the past decade. He has extensive training and personal experience as a recovered addict. He was addiction for 21 years to drugs, alcohol and sex. He has been sober for 10 years and committed his life to helping others overcome addiction. Simona has established herself as a source of support for women in difficult relationships, partnered with addicts and experiencing abuse. She has worked with families of abuse and specialises with children. Both have worked hard rebuilding their marriage of 20+ years and have the experience and training to help couples build amazing relationships. My Mental Health is flexible to meet your needs and is open 6 days a week.
