About Neil Mansell Concrete

Neil Mansell Concrete joined the Neil Mansell Group in 2005 with the purchase of an independent premix concrete company with two fixed concrete plants in Mackay and Moranbah, one mobile concrete plant, a sand extraction facility and cement importing warehouse. The main focus for Neil Mansell Concrete is to operate the Group’s concrete batching businesses, as well as the ancillary support activities such as the Callide fly ash contract and the importation of cement powder from China for utilisation by the Group’s businesses. Neil Mansell Concrete has performed some very large concrete pours, and some of our Mobile Plant Projects include supplying 16,000m3 for the Wivenhoe Dam upgrade, 25,000m3 for the Burdekin to Moranbah Pipeline and more.

If you want plenty of limestone powder in your concrete to make it weak, then go with mansells for your pathetic concrete. They cart a lot of limestone dust for Omya and do not worry about sweeping out their tankers before loading fly ash or gp.

As I work for Education Queensland and we are building a number of new schools on the Sunshine Coast, I was very frustrated and dissatisfied with the lack of basic service when it came to choosing coloured concrete and aggregate blends. I checked Mansell’s Caloundra website and called the number listed and got the Mackay plant only 10 hrs drive away. I asked if he could email me one through however, this was not possible as Mansell’s don’t have a digital copy of their colours. I rang through to Kunda Park batch plan and the manager said pop on in and grab a colour chart and assure me he would be there until 5pm. So I drove from site at Beerwah 45 mins to the plant only to find that the batch plant managers had both left work early. I then tried the Mansell’s head office surely a multi million dollar business would have colour chart brochures available. No! The plant manager finally called me back only to say he wasn’t on site and suggested I take photos of their front wall. What a joke
