Hello, My name is Darren and I am the owner of Northern Lawn Care which is a locally owned and operated business out of the Northern Beaches Trinity Beach, servicing the Cairns area. I am a hard working, family man who prides myself on the services and advice I offer. I have been in the industry in various roles and organisations, both private and government for over 15 years. I hold a Certificate 3 in Horticulture and Certificate 4 in Front Line Management as well as various other licences and certificates (see below). Northern Lawn Care is a fully insured business up to $10million liability. We offer a variety of professional services at a very competitive rate.

Darren did an exceptional job taking care of my lawns and gardens on a regular basis for years while I worked away from home. He always let me know when he was swinging by and kept me up to date with any extra maintenance that was required. Coming home to a perfectly manicured lawn and maintained gardens saved me a lot of time when I was home and meant I didn't have to worry about it all being overgrown while I was away. Darren's a genuine guy and I would recommend him for any lawn and garden maintainence.

Darren has been saving the day and expertly manicuring my lawns and gardens for more than 5 years now. I have lost count of how many times he has responded to my calls for help when needing his expertise and assistance. As a single Mum so easily overwhelmed with such tasks, Darren took all the stress, provided great advice where needed, always presenting a transformed garden in return. Darren did an amazing job reclaiming my garden from the jungle I had let it get to! And for a good price. He maintains it beautifully so I dont have to stress about it anymore. The easygoing, friendly and no hassle service is exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Darren 😊

Darren has been maintaining my lawn and gardens for 7 years now. His business is definitely worth investing in! I work full-time, run a side hussle and care for a large family, so Its incredibly handy to be able to rely on a business i can trust. Northern Lawn & Garden Care respects my home and does an excellent job whilst I'm away. Its a great feeling driving in after a hard day to see my family home has been so well taken care of. Darren is one of the most qualified, knowledgeable and friendly garden and maintenance guys in the tropics. 10 stars!

Prior to the sale of the houses Darren promptly completed 3 homes worth of gardening, lawns and mulch on 3 seperate occasions. Always 10/10 service and communication.

Darren did not complete jobs quoted for. Leaving lipstick palms still touching the gutter and not pruning as was asked. Used sand with shells on my front lawn instead of topsoil that was quoted. Don't waste your time and money on him.

I'm sorry you feel that way Lizzie Grady.im assuming it is in reference to the property at Flagstone Terrace Smithfield. You've wasted the garden centres time, my time and the Raw Materials place due to your ignorance. I personally went back to your property to investigate and took photos. There was not one shell in the topsoil that comes from up on the table lands. As far as I know there are no beaches up on the tablelands either. That top soil used is perfect for what you asked for to prevent the postman leaving ruts in your lawn as EXACTLY requested. If you had of waited a week or made a phone call instead of sending rude messages on a weekend, you would have seen that the lawn will grow thru and it will result in what you wanted. I've used that top soil on many jobs including my own lawn and never had a complaint or issue much less rude messages or feedback. As fornthe cordylines you wanted removed, you in fact called them by an incorrect name. And I did return promptly to remove them within a day or two. When you next leave negative feeback on someones small business make sure you state facts. Thanks for your feedback.

No feedback on the enquiry, had to ring them a few days later. They were flat out anyway for next 2 to 3 weeks, so went with someone else. Probably best to ring these guys direct.

I love having a well maintained garden and I am no gardener!! Darren does an excellent job keeping the lawns and garden looking beautiful on a regular basis. I recently moved and the garden was left beautifully presented, now I have a bigger yard and its been no trouble for Darren to provide the same great service and quality work at an affordable price. We called Darren last minute to tidy all our gardens and lawns before our rental inspection. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! nothing was to much trouble! he did an AMAZING job for such a great price! We now use Darren from Northern Lawn Care every month to do all our Gardens, weeding and lawns and trim trees back from the house. i highly recommend Darren was he does a fantastic job.
