Frequently Asked Questions
How long do you have to wait to get dentures after teeth have been pulled?
Allow up to two weeks after a single tooth extraction for the socket to heal sufficiently to allow the denture to be inserted without interfering with the healing process. If you have numerous teeth pulled, however, it may take 3-6 months for gum recession to subside. In this scenario, an immediate denture, which is placed after natural teeth have been removed, can be a good option.
How many different types of dentures are there?
Each denture is made to fit your specific requirements. Your dental prosthetist will be pleased to assist and advise you on the materials and denture configurations that are best for you, whether you are a candidate for full dentures, partial dentures, or even flexible partials.
