NT Coating Specialists is a company that provides treatments involved in the preparation, sealing and finishing of concrete floors. Our tradesmen are experienced specialists who work throughout the Northern Territory, from Palmerston to rural and remote areas. We are official applicators and distributors for Varie Coat Australasia and its seamless flooring system. We also carry out all kinds of floor preparations, screed toppings and concrete repair work. Concrete floors are popular for many reasons, durability being foremost. Even under high traffic conditions in commercial situations, a properly maintained, sealed concrete floor can last for many years with only minimal maintenance. Depending on the amount of traffic, it would need sealing once or twice a year to protect its surface. Cleaning involves a neutral cleaning agent and a mop and bucket. For stubborn stains, a blue utility pad can be used. A great variety of colour and texture effects can be achieved thanks to advances in concrete mixing and setting, with colour being mixed directly into the concrete before the slab is laid. For existing floors, an acid stain, dye or staining agent can be applied to the surface. NT Coating can apply Varie Coat seamless fleck flooring or epoxy coating. Another finish we offer is Stylepave stenciling, which can achieve decorative faux tile effects or a brilliant smooth surface.
