Optima Car Detailing

I took my car there. They damaged my drivers seat surrounds then he made out I lying and I was trying to pull a so called fast one on him. He was very rude and intimidating. I should have installed a dash cam to record the event. I would NOT recommend this joint to anyone. The $65 wasn't worth it. A rushed job.

When I rang this company to ask for my interior cleaned as I wanted my car seats cleaned professionally, I asked 3 times before I booked it in if they cleaned the seats through extraction with water etc, as I had vomit on my seats and specifically asked if they did it this way to clean it and suck it out. They reassured me they did it like that. I asked the manager on the day if this is how they did it also just to check again. When I picked up my car it looked clean from where I was standing in the shade, but half an hour later in the sunlight it showed a completely different story. My back seats hadn't been touched as there was still dirt on the seats and stains still on all seats. I called the manager on the way home to explain and ask what he did to clean the seats. He then explained it was shampooed and vacuumed and that stains would occur when it dried out. I explained that I didn't want it shampooed as it just masks the smell for a bit and doesn't get rid of the real problem. I then said that I was told 3-4 times that it would be extracted and it wasn't. He offered to clean it again for free, but to begin with all I wanted it done was properly and to what they said. So I took my car back and asked if I could get a refund so I could get the job done properly as they didn't have the equipment to do the job how I originally asked. The manager's son wrote on a piece of paper that if I came back on the Saturday when the manager was there, I was to be refunded the money which I have in writing. I then go back saturday to see the manager, and he refuses to give me a refund. He wanted a chance to fix it, but my argument was how do you fix something you don't have the equipment to do and blatantly lied to me from the start. He offered a voucher, but said he didn't want me to come back, which I don't want to anyway as he is rude nasty and a rip off merchant. He refused to give me back my money, even when I have in writing form his son that I will get it refunded. If he was an honourable business man and honest he would have done so without the half an hour of arguments. He is the rudest man I've ever encountered. Do not take your vehicle here. They don't even do a good job. I still had dirt in lots of places with a full interior clean. Was absolutely appalling. Do not recommend anyone taking there vehicle here.

Promises made and not followed through on price. Not good communication and staff need to look outside the box not at a pamphlet.
