No, two 'Antiques & Collectables' stores here in Maitland NSW have not responded to my recent emails, simply asking them whether they may be interested in buying a unique possession from me. I sent a picture of this inherited item to them as well. So I've simply assumed that they don't purchase items from people - they just accept donations (which they go and sell). If that's the case, I somewhat respect that. But I would like to receive a simple and appropriate response from them. Maybe they do buy items from people, but they're not into purchasing in this economic time period.
