I have found termites in my home; What do I do?

Do not disturb or remove damaged timbers as this can cause termites to leave the affected area, making it harder for us to determine the extent of termite activity and the ability to treat an active area.

I have found termites in a tree stump; What do I do?

Most pest control companies will want to charge you in excess of $150 to treat the affected timber. If you spent that money with a stump removal business you would improve the look of your yard and remove the reason for termites being in your yard.

How can I protect my home against termites?

Have us do a Visual Termite Inspection to Australian Standards 3660. Then make all the changes recommended on the report to improve the environment around your home, removing reasons for termite to be in your yard.

Are termite baiting systems effective?

Baiting systems are very affective at finding termite activity and eliminating the colony. This is an excellent option for homes that are impossible to put a treated chemical zone around your home due to the construction methods or you want to be proactive in the termite management and monitor the stations together.

Why are regular pest inspections so important?

A report will tell you of potential problems around your home that could invite/attract termites close or into your home. Soil levels, leaking plumbing, leaking shower recess, fungal decay are but a few examples of potential problems.

Peace of Mind Termite & Pest Management educate you on how to make your home safe from damage and sickness caused by pests�so you can make informed decisions on the pest management program that best suits your family and environmental concerns. Towards the end of 2016 we were looking at ways to make pest control and termite management easier to access for our customers. To this end we have created �peace of mind pest plans', where our customer decides on the level of pest and termite management they want at their home for the year. Each of the pest plans has been created on the most commonly requested job combinations clients have carried out on their properties. We have created: �Four-combined termite inspection & pest management plans �Two inspection plans �Our pest management plans The plans are graded as: �Platinum �Gold �Silver �Bronze The Peace of Mind Pest Plans are paid in advance by a monthly Ezidebit facility that our client agrees to. Monthly payments are made to us and tracked by Ezidebit and our accounting software, so you can ask our office for a statement of payments at any time. Why would I want to be on a Peace of Mind Pest Plan? If we look at the most commonly requested Inspection and Pest Control service, Silver Plan (SIP) at an annual cost of $396, you now have two options; Option One: Find the $396 in the month the service is due. Option Two: Pay a monthly amount of $33. Now when our office calls and asked what day suits you best for your Inspection & Pest Control you only have to fit the service into you weekly plans as the financial commitment has already been made.
