Piddington Carpets and Flooring

I don’t usually do this but I’m so frustrated other people should know- Save yourself a lot of heartache and stress- get your flooring from somewhere else nice they have your money they treat you terribly I have been sleeping in the floor for week having moved all my furniture and was looking forward to carpet today as told no one showed up I email and get sorry that was a typo can’t come til next week - that’s another week sleeping on the floor, a days pay gone, and my 76 yr old mum is coming to visit on the weekend with now no where to sleep and the living room and kitchen full of furniture. I’d cancel them, but you can’t without loosing money so they have you over a barrel. More than 3 weeks they’ve had my cash with only 1 room of carpet to show for it. So please don’t deal with this company.

Have used Piddington Carpets & Flooring for years and recommended family and friends. Always provided great products and service. Love my hybrid flooring! Great for spills with the kids and looks great. Highly recommend!

We had hybrid flooring laid by this company recently. After less than 12 months the floor started to lift and buckle. When we raised it with the with the vendor, they took zero responsibility and refused to fix it and shifted the blame on to us as apparently our floor preparation was not done correctly. They used newspaper to pad out under the floor where it was uneven. Why lay a floor if you think the floor is not laid correctly?! Why not inform the customer that there are apparent issues with the existing hardwood floor before taking money! I wish we had done a check on existing reviews, as it seems we are not the only customer affected by the same issue! DO NOT use this company or installers. Thousands of dollars down the drain and we will have to pay thousands again to have the floor relayed by a reputable company. Shame on you Piddington Carpets!! Shame on you for taking advantage of a customers trust.
