Requested a quote and within 2 hours Damian came out to quote the job, was friendly and happy to chat about the job so he could understand what we needed. Gave me a quote via email within a few hours (price was fantastic!) Then did the job within a few days, turned up on time, quality of work was brilliant and Damian and Nathan made sure we were happy and understood everything that they did. Will be my go to plumber from now on and recommend to everyone!

Overcharged on a simple washer change $272.49 - for an 87 year old pensioner!! Will never use this business again!!

Alanna, the job was more than a simple washer change. Please read the provided invoice notes which clearly indicate the scope of works completed. Our plumber supplied and installed new tapware, as well repaired the leaking inlet valve on the meter assembly, he was on site for 1.5 hours and you were charged one hour to keep costs down. If you require additional information, please contact our office, I am more than happy to provide you with a copy of the diarised job card which sets out the full extent of what has occurred. Invoice Comment Requested by Alanna to attend site to investigate & service leaking laundry tap REPLACED EXISTING TAPWARE, SUPPLIED & INSTALLED NEW TAPWARE Established plumber, equipment & materials on site. Completed Site Risk Analysis 'TAKE 5' - Identified possible HAZARDS before commencing work. Inspected location of tapware that required replacement. Isolated water supply and released water pressure from system. Removed existing tapware. Using a torch carefully viewed existing inwall tap body seats for damage. Seats are fine. Supplied and installed new tapware for the laundry tub taps. Restored water supply and flushed system of air and debris. Tested and commissioned completed installation. Ensured tapware is smooth to operate and fully isolates water supply on shut down. Found the packing nut on the water meter isolation valve to be leaking. Using thread tape sealed the leak on the water meter isolation tap. Cleaned and wiped down all adjoining surfaces. Tidied up & removed all waste. Completed documents processed & filed.

We cannot speak highly enough of Plumbers Express. Our experience with Paul, Damien and their team members, have been nothing but positive. We had a couple of relatively minor jobs taken care of quickly and efficiently and are now in the process of scoping out a bigger drainage job which has proven challenging for other plumbing firms in the past. I called for assistance with a small leak on my gas connection. I wanted to get a quote for repairs. A plumber was immediately dispatched which seemed impressive at first until he arrived and told me there was a $250 call out fee! Nothing mentioned in the call about callout charges . I told the tradesman "No thankyou" and sent him on his way.

Hi Mel, Sorry to hear of your disappointment. Just to clear things up, we do not charge $250.00 for a call out fee, never have and never will. The $250.00 was the total charge quoted to repair your gas leak, pressure test the gas service and submit a certificate of compliance to NSW Fair Trading. I apologise if our plumber didn’t clearly explain this to you. Once we work on your gas service we are responsible to ensure its compliance. Kind Regards, Paul
