We at Auto Trans Australia (ATA) are a specialty transmission factory. Established in 1984, we are trade and dealer specialists, who strive to keep up with the latest automatic and electronically controlled manual transmissions. With our new high-tech equipment, we guarantee that the job is done once and done correctly. Our highly trained staff continue to lead the way on the very latest transmission repairs. We work very closely with European specialists, who are several years ahead in this very hi-tech field. In October 2007 we moved to new premises in Alexandria, Sydney. This new and very modern, almost clinical, facility is well-fitted out with 25 transmission specialty-made work benches, along with our fully equipped in-house clean engineering section. This is our in-house and trade-only torque converter remanufacturing and general engineering shop. All our transmissions carry a 3-year or 60,000 km/s warranty Australia wide. With our ISO 9001 Certification (in progress) you can be assured our quality is number one in the industry. At (ATA), we help our transmission trade people by supplying reconditioned valve bodies that we ship all over Australia and New Zealand. We also perform difficult transmissions that most transmission specialist won't take on (due to the cost and unavailability of the parts). We do all types of transmissions.
