Dr. Tanya Hollier is the principal psychologist at Psychology Matters Newcastle. She holds a Doctoral degree in Clinical and Health Psychology and has experience working with a variety of mental and physical health disorders including first episode psychosis, schizophrenia, chronic respiratory illnesses and psychosocial treatments for cancer patients. Tanya has a special interest in working with people who have experienced trauma and those who work as first responders including police, ambulance and fire brigade. She is also experienced in providing psychosocial interventions for people struggling with their general health and can provide support for people with obesity, diabetes and other metabolic conditions. Tanya is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Associate Member of the Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
