QITE

Q.I.T.E. is one of the largest providers of employment and training services in the region. As a not-for-profit organisation, Q.I.T.E. employs over 95 people and has offices in Mareeba, Atherton, Innisfail, Cairns and Yarrabah. Q.I.T.E. also offers accredited and non-accredited training in partnership with TAFE. Q.I.T.E. provides all service delivery under a Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2008. Q.I.T.E. owns a number of small community business enterprises which deliver training but also provide community-based services; QT's Early Learning Centre, Q.I.T.E. 's Passenger Service and Timber Creations. In addition the organisation's Harvest Labour Service recruits and places workers in harvest jobs, mobilising job seekers from locations outside harvest areas as required.
