Marian Sharrock here. On 4 th august in Mostyn st my heart suddenly stopped with no warning. My husband and son was close So son stayed on phone while my husband did CPR. He did CPR for 15 to 17 minutes then ambulance people took over and hit me with a shock (de-fib). I would like to thank my husband who did perfect CPR and ambulance folk who attended and and saved my life. Because of my husband, the ambulance folk, Rockhampton ICU I’m here with no damage to my heart and brain. I now have a pacemaker/de-fib in my chest. I would also like to say thanks to air ambulance for flying me to Prince Charlie late in the night and Prince Charlie hospital for the care they gave me. Without all of you caring I wouldn’t be here. Thank you all.

To the wonderful paramedics who attended the emergency in dean street the 9th of November, thank you so very much for your professionalism and respect you gave to all involved in this very stressful situation. Our darling family member passed away in A+E around 9.30pm that Wednesday night. After your excellent work we were able to talk with her and say our goodbyes. Words can never say enough, but again thank you. From the Burke family.

A huge thank you to Dayne who responded so quickly to my call for ambulance to the Emu Park Caravan Park last Sunday. He treated me for a very scary asthma attack in such a professional and calm manner. I am so thankful, Dayne.
