Very bad experience with Quicklift Garage Doors. I asked them to install a tilt garage door. They do the frame first and I hire a tradie to install cladding. The quicklift garage doors technician visited on site for commissioning. He told me the cladding is a bit overhanging the frame. The issue needs to be fixed before commissioning. The tradie who installed the cladding was right next to me and I told the technician the issue can be fixed in 10 mins. So you don’t need to come back again. The technician said no worries, no need to rush. Once you fixed the issue, give him a call, then he will come back to finish the job. He did not mention any additional fees. Today, I received a call from sales team there is a $199 fee for technician to come back. If I don’t pay the fee, the garage door will never be able to use. My advice is always confirm with any additional fees with them before signing contract and talk to any staff member. They won’t tell you the fees on spot.
