Repco Ballina

If you buy anything from this store and you need to return it make sure you have kept your receipt intact. I bought a 5L container of LPG oil about 6 to 7 months ago to do an oil change on the dual fuel ute I had at the time. Before I could the ute died and was left with container of oil, unopened. I went into the store last weekend to try to exchange for a container of oil I could use, prepared to pay the difference or wear the difference in price. Store staff made comment that the container hadn't been opened and tried to return, but couldn't work out how to do it. Told me I had to come back when the boss was there. Returned to the store on the Monday and was told I would have to come back as boss was in a meeting with his boss. Went away and duly returned a short time later. This time was told by same staff member that boss said no as he couldn't look up over six months. Didn't even try. I didn't think oil had a use by date.
