About Riina Kosonen Massage Therapist

Riina Kosonen is a remedial massage therapist with a genuine desire to help her clients feel better, live healthier and learn to love and appreciate themselves more. Riina loves to see her clients overcome various health complaints by committing to a self-care routine that nourishes both body and mind and has a positive flow-on effect on all aspects of their life. She has a special interest in treating stress related conditions such as migraines, tension headaches, neck, shoulder and TMJ pain, chronic back problems, depression, anxiety as well as pregnancy and post-natal massage. In her treatments Riina often combines a variety of massage techniques with gentle joint mobilisation, triggerpoint release, cupping, lymphatic drainage, Pyonex press needling and breathing & mindfulness exercises. Riina graduated from Endeavour College of Natural Health in Melbourne in 2012, completed her Certificate in Pregnancy Massage 2013 and has since continued to receive further training and mentoring from leading experts in her field. She has several years of experience in clinical and corporate massage as well as educating her clients on health and wellness matters. Riina practices in the heart of Newcastle from Monday to Friday.
