Shearwater Lodge

Shearwater Lodge is a non-profit organization that provides affordable accommodation for cancer, medical and trauma patients and their companions/careers. Shearwater Lodge is located adjacent to the Coffs Harbour Base Hospital, making it a convenient option for patients and their families. The Lodge has 15 air-conditioned motel-style units, each with its own ensuite bathroom, two single beds, WiFi, television, wardrobe, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. There are two common rooms, which include kitchen, dining and lounge areas where residents can mingle and prepare meals. A BBQ area is available for guests to enjoy. A wheelchair accessible unit is available. The rooms are serviced on a weekly basis. A coin operated laundry is available for the use of residents. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted. Morning teas are provided by local groups each Tuesday & Thursday. Shearwater Lodge is a valuable resource for patients and their families who are facing a difficult time. The Lodge provides a comfortable and supportive environment where people can focus on their health and well-being.
